Bonjour! Sabrina, Sasa and I arrived Toulon on tuesday night... stayed 1 hour away from toulon city centere... my first experience in a small french town... people were friendly and everyone buys french loafs in the morning, that loaf is to them like rice is to chinese.

i did visit the city of toulon, which was quite a nice place, but getting there was kinda hard for my hostel was more than 1 hour away from it... speaking to the locals, was like a duck speaking to a chicken,....

the day after that, surviving on biscuits and bread (food is expensive here), we managed to visit the town of Cures, a small but beautiful town...

After crues,... we took the train to our next destination... Marseille. Being 1 of the oldest city in france... it is filled with old buildings and historical locations... Tomorrow will be visiting them... will update more =D Merci Beaucoup~!

BOOM! *the blog wakes up with a sudden jerk... and realized it has been sleeping truout the whole summer* yeap, blog u have been sleeping, please do not fall asleep anymore, for a new term is coming, and you have to blog the lame life of eugene... and yes... blog goes "ok... i will i will! dont bug me anyore =_= ... so here it goes... first off...

summer holiday started more than 2 months ago... 1st month was spend being random is bristol... was a nice yet a little sad time for i had to say bye to alot of my international friends...

Banksy surprised bristol with his to date the biggest art show by taking over the whole museum with his art...

and for the 2nd month, went back to malaysia, having a good time eating, watching tv, sleeping, and meeting up with friends, my family, and val...

and after 1 month, i had to go back to bristol... which is around now... but was intime for the harbour festival and the bristol hot air baloon fieasta =D currently staying with sabrina, siew hoon, and sasa. Staying in an empty room. Got my self a room (moving soon) and a lovely bike...

Need a job now, hopefully i will get it after i return from france... need the money...

and now time for the preproduction of my project to come... yes...yes...

spring is here, easter break is here too~ past few days have been really busy on my prepro, but i did manage to go for a field trip to wells and glastonbury, here are some pictures

Wells
it was this small town in England, and it was where hot fuzz was shot, there is a nice cathedral to visit, with alot of history and stories about it

glastonbury
a mystical place where this little hill called the lot of glastonbury is supposed to be the gateway to avalon... there is this small tower called st michael's tower there, where it used to be an abbey there, the winds on the hill are so strong.... it makes it hard for u to walk around. Glastonbury has many things to do with the legends of king Arthur, supposedly the place where king arthur is buried... many legends and things going on there....

i cook... almost 5 days a week... pasta, noodles, fried rice, lamb chops, and sandwiches, im trying to cook more, but here are the pics of some of the food i did manage to cook,

took a day trip to cadiff, in wales... 1st stop was big pit, it was an old mine that was closed down, and its now converted into a meuseam, i could not take pictures of the mining area which was 90meters underground for anything battrey operated might spark the mathene gas and well... we can watch fireworks infront of our very own eyes for the last time... the next stop was cadiff castle. it was devided into 3 places which was the result of 3 different eras of rebuilding. it was first a roman fort, then the normans took over and built a castle, and in the victorian times, a rich family built thier mansion in it too...

my uni is situated by the side of a park... well its an estate... its called the bower ashton estate.... vast grasslands... small forests, deer parks, and a peaceful place to be.... one fine day, i decided to walk trough it and then go to the clifton suspension bridge.... bristol's landmark.. which is a bridge over the river avon... here are some pictures =D

im finally in bristol~ after 12 hours of plane from KLIA to Ansterdam and then 1 hour to bristol... living in the city centere.... here are some pictures of where i live around and pictures of Bath, a place i visited on tour,...

my accomodation, a flat, 6 rooms, a comman kitchen and dining area.... and thats alphonse.... the pet =D with minty behind it.... its a cat's tail....

BATH, its quite a historical town 30 minutes away from bristol,... i followed a tour bus there. it is a place where there are hot springs and people used to come here to bathe in it... all the way from the times of the celts to the romans and troughout the 1800s,.. i think... hahaha,... in the late 1700s, it was a very high classed resort... where really rich people would come here and make holidays,.. by bathing, attending parties, and shop for fashion.... the curved buildings u see in the pictures is one of the highest classed homes where the rich people stayed in during the holidays,....

looks like there is nothing much to blog this few days.....i have been packing, getting ready for going to UK, learning how to cook.. i think i shall talk about my adventures in cookingland...

well it started when my dad (who alredy knows the guy from the cafe,... in fact he knows everyone =_=) told the owner of a cafe near his office i am studying overseas, the nice guy, decided to give me a tutorial on coking and allow me to observe in his kitchen as well as try cooking... so...
first day, he educated me on the different ways of cooking (primarily Chinese style), which was mostly stir fry, a little boiling.... some sandwich making,... but was mostly stir fry. He then brought me into his kitchen to try to cook an egg... 1st day done... (this post is starting to sound boring)
second day.... i arrived after lunch time where the workers were more free... the boss asked me to follow this Indon guy working there and observe. i tried to fry some rice which turned out not bad, a lil salty, and, yeap.... spent the rest of the day observing until my time was almost up so i tried to fry some fried noodles for my parents to try.... well not bad i think but the fire must be controlled a little more well.... ( i really can post do i @_@ so boring i even feel my self)
3rd day... last day... uhmm went in same time as 2nd day.... tried my hand on some butter chicken... not bad i think... the garlic was a lil burnt,... and then did some hokkiean mee was a lil too dry and burnt... well, looks like i stoll gotta practice... aha!!! long post!! innit boring!

5th CHRISTMAS! the day we remember Christ came to this earth to die for us,
went to church, hung out with some old friends, went to aunt Teresa's house for a party, it was so good to be able to celebrate Christmas.... christmas itself tells us of a love that was so great and God was born into the world to die for us,... so we can truly live...

as many have known, recently i made a trip up to mount kinabalu, the tallest mountian in malaysia, and this is my trip...

upon arrival we had our lunch in some chicken rice shop (it was supposed to be the famous chicken rice but val say it isnt =_=)

my mum enjoying the food (and y is she actually eating the cucumber)

after lunch we made our way up the small town of kundasang where will stay there for a night before we start the climb~~

fresh fruits at kundasang ~~ the pineapples were so nice i bit my mouth 2 times =_=

at merci lou (i dunno how to spell that) the gates of terror =_=

the climbers~

the merci lau trail up... to get up to kinabalu, they are 2 trails, 1 timpohon and the other one, mercilau, the one i climbed... timpohon is only 6 km up to the rest house, while,... the one i took was 8 km more =_=.... 2KM more!!!! it was more tiring and .... well terrible T_T

but never the less... the (blue screened like) sceneries were too beautiful not to go that trail... btw those were real.... no blu screen.... my college friends says it looks like blu screen

as we got further up, the trees got shorter and shorter,...

the rest house where we had a buffet dinner, stayed for the night,...and from there we would leave at 2 in the morning =_= to hike up the last 2 km

managed to reach there just in time for the sunrise,... (in which i puked 2 times on the way up, and 1ce on the summit =_=)

notice my overly white face ( not prepared for the cold+puked+mountian sickness=whiteface)

the porter... the guys are able to carry 4-5 sometimes more, gas tanks, food suplied, and even building materials up to the rest house, they go up the peak like 3 times a week @_@

finally we reached the bottom of the mountian using the shorter trail =_=

on this board states the record holders for climbing up the hill, and the fastest time up is actually around 2 hours 30 minutes @_@

sabah tea, the tea that saved my life

after we reached down we styed at pine resort

and my camera had to go out of batterey =_= so no pics then on~ but thats the end of the story here,.. hahaha

another story is,... on the way up to the summit i was actually starting to feel my mountian sickness, u start to puke, feel really exhausted, when u have it. so there was this very nice guide,(usually kadazan dusun ethnic people who grew up there, and are many many many times fitter than any regular guy) who cheered and encouraged me all the way up, she was actually a woman @_@ and when they were walking on rock and climbing up... their felt seemed to be like glued to the rock @_@... and so i managed to make it up to the summit.... i guess i stayed there a little too long... making me cold and adding to my mountian sickness..... i started to get real sick, i had to walk real slowly,.... leaving me very very far behind.... and puking~ hahaha, but this guide, another guide,... followed me all the way down, advising me encouraging me when i really thought i had to be carried down, she told alot about how living there was like, the experiences she had, and surprisingly talked bout water =-= thanks to my bro who went up to meet me from the rest house ( wahahahah that guy did not get to go up, thx fo mountian sickness... as well as over eating the breafast =_=)...
so this is a salute to those kadazan dusun guides who spends their lives guiding, protecting and ensuring the climber's happiness in the hike

ok they do not really look like that =_= thats their traditional costume, they wear mordern clothes, some even climb in cheap convers like shoes @_@

its been 2 weeks or more, i shifted back to my own home, no more living in sunway. now.. i have to travel to college... not like last time where it was just a walk away. but its better in a way i have home cooked food as well as cleaner air back home... well i do miss the sunway house... here are some pictures of it

its like 5.32 in the morning,... then some guy decides to watch power rangers from youtube... it somehow kinda gave me a flashback... reminded me of my dream when i was a kid. back then when the power rangers hype was going everywhere... (which i was in too..) i had this dream... it was one fine evening when the power rangers visited my house,.. they were in normal form, no suit and stuff, if i was not wrong, in my dream, my dad greeted them for thier surprise visit, funny how i forgot the rest, and only remembered the ending part,... which is also the wieardest part,... where after dinner with the power rangers at my house,... my mum was washing the dishes,.... pink ranger was playing with my bro (which also was his fav power ranger), red ranger looking very mature was overlooking, so i decided to check on the other rangers,... that were bathing upstairs @_@ .... and when i got up there, the black, blue, and yellow were argueing on who bathes 1st,... in the bathroom,.. abd the wieardest part... they were naked @_@ ... yea its a very very very wieard dream... but thats what i dremt when i was a kid... sounds soo wrong now,... @_@

its 5:48 in the morning, and i call it a day, woke up at 12 noon, ate sour cream sen remo instant pasta, watched tv, read bible, bathed, and came to college around 2 something. took my tickets for my graduation dinner,.... then off to do my daily routinelike project,... haha, slacked a lil, slept a lil, ate, and did work, watch movie in college a lil, and now... after being satisfied with the progress for the day,.. i call it a day... a lifeless day to some people =_=, but ITS FULL OF LIFE DARNIT! any ways, recently i have always been thinking of the beach,... somewhere where the sun is nice, eventhough its hot u can cool down in the sea,.. oh the blue sea, and prolly i can learn some surfing, sit by the beach in some small restraunt shack,.. ahhh.... and food... oh food... any ways.... its a day~ good night~

another night in 3d lab after we watched tron,.. someone found this game online,... and every 1 ended up playing it in the network and no work was done for the night =_=

each player had to ride around, avoid hitting everything and while the player rode with it came the walls.... i do not knwo how to explain it further,... i only know it made the whole 3dlab 1 not do anything but play for almost 3 hours

good friday,is a day christians observe remembering the day Jesus died on the cross to save our sins. many times i do not actually see the big picture of how he actually died for me. this good friday felt more significant for me because,... i did wrong to someone, and thinking back at it, i do not know how the person can forgive me,i actually did something really hurtful and really wrong towards that person in my a little rash mind (don't worry every 1, i m still a virgin, it has nothing to do with sex or any thing,). but it struck me, its only this thing and i feel so guilty over it, i cant stand knowing that i actually hurt someone i so care about, but what bout God, whom i have hurt so much,... it took God a whole lot of love to actually send His son to atone for our sins so we can be forgiven. That was such a beautiful love.... i am glad i actually got to feel God's forgiveness toward us, but the fact that i did hurt someone really still kinda haunts me, i really hope the person can forgive me and still trust me. If u r reading it, i really hope you can trust me again though i feel it may take long, just wanna express my disappointment and remorse of what i did....

and so comes the day where flowers got a lil more expensive, fancy restaurant were packed with couples, so for me, i decided to do a lil cooking (1st time in my life @_@) sneaked in val's neighbor's house, in there i was given some crash course on how to cook rice and cook pasta =-= thanks to kawai king and ah snow, also not forgetting my cooking technical directors who taught me what stuff to buy (collin and jason leong)... any ways, i did cook for my 1st time, making rice balls with facial expressions and raw fish inside,

and cabonara sauce with sausages and salmon, had it at val's house

*sorry for the blurr shot.... had no tripod then~and for v day~ she got made me a soft toy bread plushie (warning... u may get addicted squeezing it...) and the rae anayami toy i wanted badly T_T thx so much~~~ ...
